Dear Nobles and Ladies,
Thank you for allowing me to be Potentate of Cyprus Shrine for 2008. I want to congratulate my fellow members of the Divan; I look forward to serving with you. I have enjoyed the several visitations I have made this year: Motor Patrol, Ambassadors, Adirondack Shrine Club and the Schenectady Shrine Club.
Lady Maureen and I want to thank Installation Chairman Jack Minozzi and Lady Pat for their efforts on a fine Installation evening. Also thanks go to Bob Zentner & Lady Pat, Paul Rosenblatt & Lady Eileen, as well as to my Aids: Grover LaFountain and Lady Helen, John Grose and Lady Pat. We don’t want to forget thanking our Past Potentates who performed the installation ceremony so well. I want to thank all those who came out to see the installation of Cyprus’ Officers for 2008. We appreciate your participation!
Our first parade was March 9th in Kingston. We had great participation and all who attended seemed to have a good time. Thank you from myself and your Divan for all those who came out to march in the parade or to support those who did.
Many Clubs are planning some great events, so let’s try to support as many as we can throughout 2008. Schoharie is having the “Dust Bowl”, Albany is having a spring golf outing in May, the Ambassadors are having the Annual Jim Brush golf outing in July, and Ulster is doing their Annual Germanfest in August. These are all great events.
I look forward to seeing many of you at these activities during the year!
